Hi, I’m Tammie and I founded Bios Legacy.

I believe every person’s life, their history, their experiences, and their insight have meaning now, and for future generations.

Here’s how Bios came about:

A few years ago, I asked my parents if they’d sit down with me and share our family history. Armed with a small handheld recorder, we spent hours talking about everything—childhood memories, raising kids, their parents and grandparents, even stories about the grandkids.

Those recordings became priceless. When my mom, once healthy and full of life, was later diagnosed with a brain tumor, we only had five months left together. Losing her was heartbreaking, but we’ll always have her voice—her laughter, her stories, her love—preserved forever.

When I shared the experience with friends, the response was overwhelming. Some regretted never recording their loved ones, while others longed to hear familiar voices again. Many asked if I could help capture their family stories too. That’s when I knew: this wasn’t just a project. This was my calling.

For more than 30 years, I worked in healthcare and management, honing skills in listening, guiding, and connecting with people. Now, through Bios Legacy, I bring those talents to something deeply personal: helping families preserve voices, stories, and legacies for generations.

Bios Legacy is part of my own legacy. It’s what I’ll pass down to my grandchildren, so they’ll always know my voice and the path that led them here. Every life—whether full of triumphs, struggles, or quiet moments—deserves to be remembered and cherished.

Some families share their recordings right away. Others save them for a milestone, a memorial, or a quiet day when they need to hear a loved one’s voice again. However you choose to use them, the stories we capture are timeless treasures.

Because in the end, it’s not just about history. It’s about connection. And your voice is the most powerful gift you can leave behind.
